The formula
Annual salary = hourly rate × hours a week × 52
Hourly rate = annual salary ÷ 52 ÷ hours a week
Example: £15 an hour, 37.5 hours a week → 15 × 37.5 × 52 = £29,250 a year, £2,437.50 a month.
